Cami Michaels Sci/Fi Fantasy author
Cami Michaels, the eldest of four siblings, was always independent minded and at the age of twelve, she dreamed of becoming an astronaut. The only birthday gift she requested was a telescope and her interest in astronomy has continued until now.
As a teenager, Sci/Fi Fantasy authors, Arthur C. Clarke, Ray Bradbury, and Robert Heinlein were her constant companions. She also had a keen interest in anthropology, psychology, and animal behavior and devoured the works of Konrad Lorenz, Margaret Mead, and Desmond Morris.
In eight grade, Cami Michaels wrote an essay about an alien with a blue tongue called Maashi, who whisks away a young girl under the cover of darkness and shows her the wonders of his world. Now, many years later, after a successful career as a physician and four children, Cami Michaels returns to the fantasy world of her youth and brings to life her first novel, I Am Sheffrou, an erotic alien love story. She plans to add two more novels, Betrayal, and The Kompali female to complete her trilogy.
